From time to time, dependent upon the demand for our Service and our clinical resources we may need to recruit additional sessional workers to support both our training and clinical service provision. If we are not currently in the process of recruiting either sessional workers or volunteers we will not reply to you, but will keep your details on file for 12 months during which time, if we decide to recruit again, you will be contacted and if still interested invited to submit an application. Criteria required for paid Alcohol Intervention trainers
You will need to be a qualified trainer or have experience of the provision of training in a health related field, an understanding or knowledge of substance misuse issues and an interest in the subject area (preference will be given to those who have worked supported or trained within the field of alcohol or substance misuse, or have some) understanding of the process of change, CBT work, or issues of dependency.
Criteria for paid alcohol treatment key worker/counsellor
You will need to hold a degree or equivalent professional qualification in counselling, psychology, nursing or social work, or hold an advanced Level 4 therapeutic diploma in counselling, and all applicants will need to have experience of providing supervised one-one counselling or keywork in substance misuse or a related field.
DAAS is a DAAT commissioned (NHS and Local authority partnership) non-statutory alcohol counselling and advice service for anyone affected by alcohol use in the county of Derbyshire. The service is based in Chesterfield.
