This one day training course compliments the ‘Blue Light’ project from Alcohol Concern.
Based on the information contained in the Blue Light Project manual, but supplemented with our own ideas and resources, training looks at how to work with change resistant drinkers with the aims of assessing and managing risk, encouraging change and minimising harm.
Topics covered will include:
- Promoting self belief and self efficacy
- Recognising and responding to health concerns
- Dual diagnosis

Parking: Dents Chambers is on the Market Place near to the Market Hall. There are various car parks located around the area. It is difficult to find a free car park however there are some located just off Rose Hill that are 70p per hour and West Bars that are 50p per hour.
Lunch is not provided, however we are based in the town centre near many shops/cafes.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the day
